    Does anyone know what the best kernel is to use with Liquid 1.7 for the OG Droid?

    I would recommend Chevy ulv if your phone can run it, if not a lv would be fine as well. Getting great battery life and temps with Chevys kernels..

    I just started using this rom(I know its old) but will the current liquid release run well on a D1.. I am also getting system not responding errors/force close.

    LGB is a great ROM. The most recent version 2.1 (AOSP 2.3.4) has been running great on my D1. If your having problems with error messages and FC's try running the fix permissions script. I know some ppl have had to switch kernels (in that case I would suggest ChevyNo1). Good luck
