Search for raidzeros recovery thread. There's a link at the bottom for an sbf of clockworkrecovery. Use rsdlite to flash it. I've gotten stuck like you too with no recovery, this is the easy fix

OK. Once again im having problems. I have 1.4 and i was wanting to go to 1.42. I made a backup this morning, Put the file on the memory card, and went to reboot in recovery with clockworkmods and it jus stays hung on the M logo. My phone jus wont get into recovery. I tried by holding x, holdin power button and selecting recovery, and in rom manager boot into recovery. All do the same thing. I also tried to restore my phone to a older backup and does the same..... I uninstalled CWM and tried to install RZR Recovery and phone turned off and did the same thing... Tried to restore phone to defaults and did the same.... I reflash CWM to droid and still nothing... Always have to battery pull and start phone back up into 1.4.... gettin friggin frustrated. plz help...

I also jus booted up 1.42 on a friends phone so i know the ROM is fine... jus my phone is retarded.

I am having issues receiving text messages... I received a few yesterday but just found out that I missed a lot. Is anyone else having issues receiving messages. I just noticed the Lock MMS in memory section and turned that on. Will this solve my issues?

so i turn navigation on today for the first time...and it keeps searching for gps....gps wifi and 3g are active on power bar and in settings...so i uninstall maps and reinstall and try again ...navigation starts up and i get a voice response ...'no data connection'..seems strange...any body have thoughts on a reason? charlie

I use a Moto H680 bluetooth headset and cannot get voice prompts using the voice dialer. Seems to work on pe5 and cm7 nightlies, so not a A2.3 issue. Anyone else having similar stuff going on? Might try replacing the voicedialer.apk with another one when I get home from work.

I just tested, at first I had same process as you..
I opened up GPS status (market free) to check out gps and it connected.
Went back to navi.
Mine just picked up in .0034 sec.... It was fast.....

1) Install "AutoKiller Memory Optimizer" from Market.
2) Open AutoKiller > Menu > Settings > Enable advanced mode
3) Set the following values:
Foreground app: 6
Visible app: 10
Secondary server: 20
Hidden app: 24
Content provider: 28
Empty app: 28
4) Apply new values
5) Reboot device

Use these settings for a while and report back..,It should fix your problem.

If these values work good I may include them by default.

those settings are low (almost mirror image) to what I used in previous ROM's.
Like they are choking back the free memory allow more use of it for the system..
I have NOT been running AkMO, but my system memory will stay free @ 40mb and up on LGB 1.4+.

btw DROIDZ i installed gps status...seems to work fine ..it gives me coordinates and knows the compass readings ..but i still get the search for gps on the navigation application. i'll wait till i get in my truck on the way home to test it again. charlie
