Backlight for keyboard working for me too. Only problem for me is auto-correct and auto-punctuation(spacebar twice for period). Going to try that work around posted. Weird how somethings work for one person and others things don't. Still the fastest my phone has ever been... ever!

LGBv1.3 is running as smooth and fast as always. Just like all of the Liquid roms have been its amazing. No problems at all with it.


Dont forget to send Liquid some donations for all of his hard work and putting out the best GB rom.

I first downloaded 1.3 from my phone xscope browser and it was not able to install. Downloading from pc and transferring to sd did the trick. Works wonderfully! I have never seen my phone operate so smoothly.

Had problems with gmail login after 1.31 update but I was eventually prompted to re-enter my password and then it worked fine.

No problems at all with youtube or keyboard library (post 1.31).

I read somewhere that Google pulled GMAIL off of market cause "THEY" were having issues. I do believe it is back and working now.

Also! for those of you experiencing auto correct issues, 1.31 patch is out on liquidsmoothroms.com or i believe on page 5 of this thread there is a link to Peter Alfonzo who has another keyboard w/ a 20,000 word vocab auto correct.

1.3 had only 1 problem for me running over 1.2 without wipe - Gmail not working. I used the following steps to make it work:
1) Download gmail v1.31 apk
2) Copy it to /system/app
3) Uninstall any instantiation of gmail if you can find using root explorere
4) Install from /system/app
5) Run fix permission script if still does not work.

Other than this everything works fine:
1) Random reboots are gone from 1.2 rev.
2) phone doesnt get hot anymore like before
3) Every app works fine
4) launcher pro is smooth, no crashes
5) Block ads works on droidforums app but not everything.
6) Ofcourse my fav MIUI music app is in here. Works great
7) Swype also works well

Annoying things:
1) After call ends still there is lag to go from 1X to 3G. its bearable but it can get annoying.
2) For Incoming calls sometimes, the rotary lock gets stuck!
3) Loved the old themed Market. hate the new green market. Not as neat as before.

On the whole, its much better than 1.2 overall. I would say 1.3 LGB is the ROM you need to get at least 90% happy on GB.

Downloaded this to my phone. If I go to downloads can I flash it as lgb13. Zip or do I have to change it to update. Zip? How do I change the name if so?

If you are using rzr or cwm you can flash as is, if you use sprecovery you need to rename to update.zip and put on the root of SD card. Astro file manager is what I use and you can view/rename/move/delete files through that. Also don't forget to flash the 1.31 patch right after flashing 1.3.

Ok, So what is the deal w/ this theme switcher and how do you use it? My assumption is that you follow the link on the download page and it would appear there and you would use it kinda like metamorph but built in. Just don't want to try it before I know exactly.

Download a theme, install theme apk, open theme Chooser, choose theme in theme Chooser and hit apply.
