I figured it all out, thanks for the help. I had problems the first time I flashed because I did not take the ota before flashing. All fixed now and running smoothly!

couldnt he just sbf to .602?

I'm sure he could have, but I don't have a dx so I was unaware (or I forgot) there was a gb sbf. At least the issue was resolved.
