From 2init back to .596

Hey gang,

I was a little curious and wanted to check out 2init Roms for a while. While I liked what I saw, I got a little homesick for Liberty .8/.9

I miss the battery life and HDMI.

So, does anyone know how I should go about getting from a 2init Rom to rooted .596?

I'm confused as to whether I need to SBF back to 2.3.40 (even though 2init is based on that kernel) or if I can flash to .596 straight from my 2init rom.

Definitely SBF. You don't want any of that 2nd Init stuff lingering around in there. Instructions here:

I tried to do it without an sbf yesterday. The GB files wouldn't install. I had to sbf, then install them.
