No data in Liberty V.09

Can't get data on liberty rom V.09. What is really weird is that I can get data only when I use the mobile hotspot. What could be causing this? I had the same problem with v.08 but never tried the mobile hotspot.

Flashed over pre-rooted gingerbread. wiped data before install. used liberty toolbox pro and tried with D2 bootstrapper recovery.

Which version of gb did you flash it over? It has to be .596.

Did you try a reboot as well as *228 option 1? Mess around with turning data off then back on. Also are you using juice defender or another battery saver?

When I use the mobile hotspot "hack", the browser works most of the time but I can't sync to google services. It wont let me sync my gmail account

What radio do you have? Check your baseband in about phone, is it .07P or .12P. You need to have .12P, but if you did indeed flash over .596, you should already be on the .12P radio.

Also, try flashing v0.9 right over your current setup, just go into CW and reflash the LGB v0.9 zip. That has fixed the issue for me before. You could also re-download v0.9 again, just to make sure you got a complete download.

I had this problem the first time I went to GB. I sbf'd back to .340 froyo, then installed the two part rooted GB. Then installed Liberty. Follow this thread if you want to give that a go. It will make it all right.

Same exact issue here with 0.9 (and I had same thing when I tried 0.8). Data works over WiFi, but not cell. Browser just displays "Web page is not available". In diagnostics menus (*#*#4636#*#*), the ping test fails (Host unreachable). I have tried *228 option 1, turning data on/off, rebooting, swapping handsets (the current one is a factory refurb I just received from Verizon today), other things. I have .12 radio.

Any ideas?
