    Cant overclock liberty 0.8

    Running 0.8. I have setcpu and Droid overclock. I have tried with and without ocing enabled in the liberty settings. Do I need to flash a different kernel? If so anyone got a link?

    You can't flash a kernel on the DX because of the locked bootloader. I just ran Android Overclock and it worked fine. Maybe the programs are conflicting in some way? I'd try uninstalling setcpu and trying just Android Overclock, then vice versa if needed to rule that out

    I did what you said. Uninstalled setcpu, rebooted and the Max in Droid overclock is still 1000. It would never work when I only had setcpu as well.

    Not sure what the deal is.

    Anyone else got any ideas?

    i have no issue running droid oc & setcpu , the problem is sometime if my phone become hot the phone will be hang and will restart itself and the setting will back to default .. i dont know why
