Hmm, check in the theme, if either of the following files exist, then yes, that could be causing the problem:
/data/liberty/pulldown_text.txt
/data/liberty/current_pulldown_text

Both of those files either need to be replaced (correctly).. or completely left alone. If the theme doesn't do anything to them.. then my best guess is the script. I'm sure JRummy will look at it.

To anyone else having the issue.. the contents of those two files could def. help us understand exactly what's going on!

this is by far the best and smoothest rom out. I do have a question tho, I wanted to try a different bootanimation that someone made. I downloaded it to my sd card. Does it have to be made just for the x? If not, do I place it somewhere special on my sd card and how do I install it? In the toolbox there is an option to install bootanimation.zip. Thank you for any help.

The bootaninmation.zip is located in the data/local folder of your file manager with this rom. You would have to rename the file you have on you sd card to read exactly bootanimation.zip and place it in the data/ local folder. You will either have to delete or rename the existing bootanimation.zip file in that folder. I always rename mine bootanimation.zip.bak so that if i want to use it down the road its always there. I like to do mine manually and have never tried the toolbox option.

+1 for detox's statement. I do exactly the same thing on all three of my Droids, and have never had any problems.

I'm just asking, I am a NOOB on Android OS. But I was wondering if the no text issue on pull down could be because of a SBF flash. The reason for my theory is because I was running the 3.20 LEAK and flashed to 3.40 SBF, and the text disappeared after flashing from 3.15. I Don't Know much about SBF SO DONT JUDGE ME ON IT. BUT I flashed Liberty 1.0 on a shipped 3.40 Droid X for Verizon and was purchased on January 2011 and the text stayed the same. I just recently flashed Liberty 1.5 and text stuck. So my question is could this be a SBF problem. Be easy so dont be to mean. Also my phone I have is the Droid X and I purchased it with 3.15. And I have no text not even Verizon but had text before flash get it. And I have flashed multiple ROMS FROM EVERY DEVELOPER EXCEPT UD. SO I DON'T THINK IT WOULD BE A THEME OR LIBERTY'S PROBLEM. JUST ASKING TO TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT AND HELP THE COMMUNITY. THANKS FOR EVERYONES SUPPORT AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK TO ALL DEVELOPERS OUT THERE.

Has anyone tried to install the big crystal dx theme from the toolbox? I tried it today and it just said downloading/installing theme for like 10 minutes and my phone started getting hot so I stopped it. Not a big deal but that theme looks cool and would like to try it. Blue gingerbread for now...

I downloaded, installed and use Crystal X for Liberty 1.5. The first time I tried, I experienced the same issue. You have to delete it from the Liberty folder on SD before trying again. It will fail again if you don't. Also, make sure you do the download/install with a very good signal. Great theme.

Hello,

Been running Liberty 1.5 on my DX since 2/2 now and LOVE IT. The one and only issue I'm having is with my back up in the script. Its only backs up 84 apps out of my 275. Does anybody know why?

Sorry if this issue has been addressed. I have wife, school, work, and kids. I really dont have the time to go through 50+ page in this thread.

Any advice will be greatly appreciate!!!!!!!
