So my fourth Droid 2 had some hardware issues, so I got a new one with an insurance claim. My fifth Droid 2 has some hardware issues upon arrival (the touch screen is messed up), so they better replace it. When they do, can I rename the IEoxVK file lgb-D2-v0.9.zip and it work from a manual install from clockwork apk? I really don't want to have to activate my phone, let all the apps install, root my phone, then do the gingerbread update, let all the apps install again, and then do the LGB update and let the apps install once again., so if I could do it all at once, that would be awesome.

Ok, Swype is working again. Uninstalled Swype + Swype installer, had beta.swype.com send me the invite again, redownloaded and ran the installer - success.

How odd, I had tried this before, and I kept getting the FCs. I had originally uninstalled both before installing the Beta (no reboot in between), and I must have had some remnant of the corrupt Swype because I kept getting the FCs.

Decided to give it another shot, uninstalled Swype, and deleted anything labeled Swype in the system/apps and data/apps folders, reboot my phone, installed Swype Installer from Beta email, reinstalled Swype, now it's working like a charm again!

Hope this helps someone having problems.

I just downloaded the toolbox pro and installed 0.9. I wiped data once already and then did the factory reset from the settings menu afterwards as well.

Problem is that when I try to open market it just force closes everytime. No error message.

Everything else seems fine other than the swipe error message upon start-up. Any ideas?

Find the new market thread and flash that. Hopefully that'll fix the market issue

It started working after 20 minutes, but thanks for the suggestion. Now I have a cool new market.

I have another quick question. After liberty downloaded a bunch a files in the beginning I went through a setup phase picking what features I wanted.

I selected that I wanted blur messaging, but I do not have the messaging icon with all my messaging stuff in it. Can I enable that somewhere? I think its messaging.apk.

Also can I go through that setup process again if i wanted to?

Yes you can use the customizer any time. Do not choose blur launcher. It will bootloop your phone. If something isn't installing right (message.apk) just open root explorer and find the liberty customizer folder on your sd. If it's a zip, extract it. Open it and install whatever you want manually.

Cool thanks I finally found where the liberty customizer is.

Alright before I start messing with apk's I have another question...

I went to settings and added my work email account. So without the messaging icon how do I access that email? When I click on the email icon it goes to my yahoo and I can't switch to the other one. I need that messaging icon.

Not sure cause I only use gmail. I think you're looking for coorprate email and I'm not sure how it works on liberty. Try going to settings/accounts and try adding an account.
