Wierdness.. Perhaps an app is somehow conflicting?

What are you using to install from the sd card.

I've tried many file managers. I have got ES manager to install with root privileges but I'm really curious what's going on. I'm probably just going to backup in CWM then factory reset.

Can you do adb install the apk from your PC to your phone?

Yes that has worked for me before on this phone but I needed it to install through the phone for modding minecraft pe lol.....anyway I factory reset and its working fine now. I don't know exactly what was causing it but I have read that apps that mess with your screen can do this.

Is it just me or did Verizon block installing from apps from sd card? I have unknown sources checked but the install button doesn't work.

Sounds like a root issue to me. Glad the FDR fixed it...

HEY there.. Got this phone on Friday. I came from the Rezound and there is a really good group of guys over on XDA. It was a great forum.. But my Rezound is no more. I got this a replacement and I cant believe how badass this phone is. and the potential it has. I hope this device gets all the attention is deserves.. I cant wait!!

I also came from a Rezound so I can understand your excitement. As of now, there is not a lot going on with this phone as of yet, but we are all hopeful.

What do you think it woukd take? I should have been paying more attention to the dev part over there and maybe learned some things

If the boot loader can be cracked then miller would have an easier time getting ROMs to work on it, until then there isn't much that can be done.

The bootloader is the biggest issue as of now... There are a couple security checks that take place during the boot process and I just can't get around them... (especially without a device) We were able to get the ROM to boot but for some reason the phone wasn't refering to the NV memory to pull the IMEI and info for the Data/calls to work... I tried to package a stock rom without removing any files but we get issues with that as the System Partitions are only set to 1GB.... I took a few days off from the Android world to get caught back up on some of my own things that were suffering because of all the time I had put into this... I will start back up again in a day or so.
