    Messaging

    I am new to Droids and text a lot. I have got Handcent SMS installed. The problem is that the text program that was on the phone before is still sending notices about new messages even after I have shut off the notifications. Any help?

    Shouldn't be if u have notifications turned off on stock mms....I would turn them back on, reboot, turn it off again, reboot see what happens...

    Just DO NOT delete stock mms app
