    Noob droid user

    Hello I want to root my phone and overclock it. I don't want to mess things up when I do this. If I copy my entire sd card onto a usb flash drive, will this work as a back up/restore point? If anything goes wrong in the process?

    I have searched the market place for the z4root and it tells me its not found. I downloaded z4root.1.3.0.apk. Which file on my droids sd card to put this into?

    You can just put it on the root of the sd card or create a folder called APK's.
    Use your file browser and browse to the file and install it.

    I know i need the custom kernel I downloaded the folder Download_GNM_TURBO4.zip unzipped it. I don't know what to do next.
