    Rooted Messaging Problems..

    I. Just rooted my Ally and must have deleted something I shouldn't have.

Now when I get messages, I can see them in my Handcent notification box however when I go into my Inbox.. there are no messages.

Any idea what I did or how to fix?

    Thanks - Ryan

Did you delete the stock messaging app? Handcent works with your stock app, not replaces it.

Boot into recovery and flash the back up you made before you started deleting things from your phone.

    Lesson #1, always back up!
Lesson #2, never delete stock apps, rename them to .bak or .old first.
    Lesson #3, memorize lessons #1 and #2

Ok, now that thats out of the way, are you running a ROM, or just stock with root?
