    Latest Rom Manager wont boot into recovery

    tried a few times and i got stuck at the Motorola picture... anyone else ?

    Not sure what is causing the issue but here are a few things you can check/try.

    Did you wipe data and cache? If not, redo the install after wiping.

    The download file of the rom may be corrupt. Verify that the file is the same size as the download or just redownload.

    Make sure your battery is at least 60% charged.

    Im not trying to install any rom..i am just trying to make a back up of my bb froyo
    spr works fine just cwm wont load in recovery

    That has happened to me a few times with CWM in Froyo.

    I usually fix it by flashing SPR and then flashing back to CWM all from ROM Manager.

    Sorry, I mistakenly thought you were trying to flash a new rom so thanks for the clarification.

    RM/CW seems to be experiencing problems. The developer suggested flashing SPR then CW then SPR and CW. If that does not correct perhaps this link will

    reflash sprecovery then flash back to cwm there seems to be an issue with the new update.

    Happened to me with a few CMW versions.. I usually just flash back to an 1.8.xxxx version and it usually works!
