About LinkBacksI would like to return to stock 2.01 and see it is available as a download on ROM Manager. Will this return the Droid to stock out
of box condition without using any other programs like DM Updater?
Does anyone have experience returning to stock this way?

04-30-2010 07:42 PMlast option, first post of the 3rd link in my signature. Do an update.zip with sprecovery. Rom manager will let you flash that "alternative recovery system" to replace clockwork to do this. Clockwork might let you do the update.zip method but if it does I am not familiar with it doing so.

hint: I name my backups like this: sg6.0_20100428 or ss4.2_20100626 to easily find them later. rom and date.

04-30-2010 07:46 PMI tried using ROM Manager twice this week to go back to stock 2.1 without success. I went back to SPRecovery and went back to stock using the link instructions that Christim has....it's easy to follow and easy to go back to stock with.
