Are you just using Rom manager or do you also have the droid 2 bootstrapper?

Rom manager is useless on a droid 2 without the bootstrapper app to access recovery. Pick it up in the marketplace.

    Thank you,
    Downloaded bootstrapper and it worked.
I am currently backing up my phone.

Hello has any one used Rom Manager premium on the OG DROID to install
Gingerbread (Android 2.3.2) ROM from Peter Alfonzo

I am wondering specifically if I can back up all apps and install them later

    thanks

WITH Bootstrap, ROM Manager is even more pointless.

You can use any recovery to install any Gingerbread ROM provided the dev has done their job in creating the update.zip file to install.

As for backing up your apps then I'd suggest you try Ti Backup and install apps one at time as some may not be 2.3 compatible.

I used Rom manager to put CM7 build #37 on my original Droid. I use Titanium backup also. I should have done a selected install cause my market hasn't worked since. Looks like I've got wipe and reinstall. But put 2.3.2 on my phone.
