Just purchased one myself today. Theyre still $20, get them while they're hot!! I still think Verizon should have gifted these to Thunderbolt owners, but I digress... Hopefully I do this right. I'm charging it until green while powered off, then I plan on booting into recovery and wiping the battery stats, running my phone until it's out of battery, then charging it until it's green again. I think that is the proper procedure, if there is one, to calibrating the new battery. One thing to note: the Rezound battery is noticeably heavier, not by much, but if this may bother some people.
I also got a chance to check out the new Razr. That phone is sick, I'm so jealous!! Beautiful screen and runs smooth as any phone/rom I've ever used. Nexus-schmexus, get one of those if your contract is up! It is huge though. Thin it may be, I don't know if I'd be able to tolerate a phone so wide and tall. As for the Rezound, meh. Between all of the devs for the TB, I don't think there will be much of anything we will be missing out on for a new HTC phone.
*ps- This should be stickied, and posted in the Thunderbolt battery discussion, if it hasn't been already
Is there an app or method that would allow us remaining stock guys to wipe the battery stats to set up the new battery.

I would just take the plunge and root already and flash a custom ROM if I were u (i suggest Gingeritus or BAMF). You get so much more out of the phone anyway. Basic step by step institutions are out there that make the process so much easier.
But from what I can tell, people get their phone used to the battery through a process of charging and draining. There's info out there and everyone seems to do it differently, so I don't know.
This threads just been BAMFed!
I'm thinking about getting one of these Rezound batteries. I've been meaning to get a backup battery anyway. But it occurred to me: Will it cause my calibration to be screwy if my back up battery is different than my primary battery? Is it better to have two identical batteries if you are going to be changing in the middle of the day?
BTW running stock GB, just haven't seen enough evidence that rooting is worth it for me.
I stopped at vzw corprate store today and imstore the responds battery is 40 bucks.the rep told me only extended batteries are 50% off in store.he said online may be different.
