Charge port using kickstand

Whyyyy did they put the charge port to where you cant charge and use horizontal style kick stand while charging! Is this some dumb flaw i just need to live with

You can get a dock, I don't have one but a friend does and uses his as a bedside alarm clock and loves it. It also will charge an extra battery. I plan on getting one soon.

I use mine on the edge of a desk, with the usb just over the edge. Works perfectly while charging on the kickstand.

Use the kickstand upright, in portrait mode....works wonderfully

Did the official Verizon dock come out yet?

I don't know if it was a design flaw, or if HTC figured they can sell their docks with it configured this way. Anyway, I use mine as an alarm clock too. I simply prop the TB to a book on my desk and it doesn't fall. I stopped waiting for the dock a few months ago, but if there is one out now I'm curious what it looks like and if it includes the rumored HDMI port.

+1 for portrait mode, I prefer it that way on the kickstand anyhow.

But yea, still silly cant do it in landscape while charging.
