    Considering Trading in my thunderbolt.

I'm thinking of trading in my Thunderbolt. I'm tired if the random reboot. Anyone else leaning towards a different phone?

Why not wait until the fix comes out and then consider it if that doesnt work? It's supposed to come out soon.

I'm in the same boat. Pretty much fed up with my phone rebooting up to 10 times a day, and the GPS with its totally inaccurate location. If what I've been reading is true, and another update is going to be pushed to the Thunderbolt by the end of June, I will give the next update a chance. If it doesn't fix the problems I'm having with this phone, I'm seriously considering just going back to my DInc, and waiting for another phone, possibly the Bionic.

Same here. What concerns me is that the last update was supposed to fix problems and look what happened.

    Just don't drop your charge.

U should get a simple phone that's slow to update if you can't fix your reboots

Why should anyone be required to root a phone to get it to work? I expect my phones to work relatively well without requiring me to do anything to it. I understand that there will always be some issues when a new product is released, but having a phone that is almost unusable due to the rebooting is pretty unacceptable.

All these reports about the TBolts' random reboots reminds me of the Moto Devour.... my daughter had it for several months and due to these same types of random reboots she kept sending them back for a replacement and each repalcement they sent her would run good for a few days...and then...the random reboots started happening with each of them.
What made matters worse is that VZW kept saying that nobody else has ever reported to them that these random reboots were happening to theirs........ even though VZW's own website was filled with their own customers reviews outlining those same random rebooting problems!!!...

The only way she ended up with a different phone was with me calling them up and saying that we'd keep sending back every Devour until they sent us one that didn't have those random reboots, and I reminded them that the cost would be on them to ship every replacement....with that, they sent her a new type of phone...the Droid OG... and she's been a very happy camper since...

So my point is that if VZW was trying to sweep the Devours random rebooting problem under the rug...I suspect that they wouldn't change their 'policy' for TBolt owners...jmho
