My ONLY complaint with the TB

Ive had this phone for over a week now and let me just say it freakin rocks. That being said I do have one complaint that REALLY bothers me.

The sound is sub par. Im sorry but the back speaker just isnt loud. And even the output on the headphone jack is really low.

Hopefully HTC gives us an update that fixes it.

I was surprised too. Big speaker, big kickstand, ringtone not so audible.

Holy... This is the loudest phone ive ever had. So loud infact, it replaced my ipod dock in the shower. The ringtones are loud as well. I really love being able to edit a song from my music library and maje it my ringtone... All right there on my phone. Also quick office helps soooo much

No issues with sound on mine either.
I noticed when it's in your pocket it will ring louder.
I also noticed if it's on your table and you pick it up...it will quiet the ring.
Lot's of nice stuff built right into the phone (no ring when flipped upside down, automatic speaker on when on a call and placed face down).

Compared to my iPod through my car stereo, this is WAY louder.

This is why this thread cracks me up. I have thought all along that my X is louder.
There's definitely variation though. My first two TB's weren't as loud as this one.

Mine is so so. The BT is fine though. I can easily hear the sound through my BT headset.

I agree. Compared to my prior cell, storm 2, the tb's sound could be a little louder. Especially since it excels in multimedia. But not a big issue for me. This cell rocks!

I have to agree also...the TB just dont compare to the X when it comes to the sound. I miss calls & texts all the time because I cant hear it,part of its because I'm always acccidently turning it down...buttons are way touchy.
