    Wow! I didn't know that

    Called Verizon to ask about the double data promotion going on right now. New phone-double your data package for the same cost, for life. $30=4gb.

    But the girl said to me, why do you care, you have unlimited for life. I asked, if I change phones do I keep it? She said no matter what I do I have unlimited for life! Great news!!!

    It's been known for quite some time that is you had an unlimited data plan prior to the switch in there policies, your grandfathered into the plan until you cancel your plan. If you keep renewing your plan, you keep the same stipulations involved.

    What i didn't know was you could change phones and still keep the unlimited plan. There may be a RAZR or Bionic in my future.

    Canceling your contract is the only way you would lose the unlimited data.
