No love for the rhyme?

This poor lonely forum, lol. I will say that the shortcut/clock full screen sense 3.5 widget is pretty awesome, its a shame that no other HTC phone in America has it.

Although there are some runnymeade roms out there that have it for the tbolt...

Also the multimedia dock that comes with the phone has fairly good audio quality

Throwing my interest in for a rooted Rhyme. I just picked one up for my wife, and I hate that I cannot root the damn thing.

My wife and I both like the Rhyme. I think that it would be a lot more popular if it came in black or white. Not many guys are going to want a plum phone. The phone seller at the local Target store is selling it for $20 now.

I liked the accessories for the Rhyme. I wish more phone manufacturer would bundle stuff like desktop docks and what not.

I got my daughter one for Christmas. Her first Android or smartphone. She is in heaven today, cried like a baby when she opened it.

My wife loves hers. To qualify that she is coming from a fascinate. The dock is great and she finds the phone a breeze to use. My only fear is that poor sales will lead to poor accessory choices.

this is the only phone that seems to make sense. it retains a normal size. and it's not a cr@ppy samsung build. maybe this is a lonely forum because this phone actually works!!!

...but i read that it's specifically a woman's phone? why is this?

It's been marketed toward women (plum color, notification charm) just like the Rezound has been marketed to thug wannabees with overrated ear buds and a new name for a loudness feature on the music player (beats)
Gimmicks targeted toward a specific audience.
My daughter loved the plum color for about a day then ordered a pink cover from Amazon.
The phone itself minus the gimmicks is very nice, just like the Rezound. I like the ui and features quite a bit and for those who want a solid phone that isn't huge the Ryme is a very good choice. It doesn't have the latest tech (dual core,8mp camera, etc) but it is a solid build that looks and performs very well.
