Charge port is very sensitive

Hi there. I tried searching for an answer to this problem, but couldn't find one. Basically, the cahrging port of my Rezound has become extremely sensitive, wherein if I don't insert the cahrger into the phone just right, it won't charge. If I am very careful about how I position it and put it down carefully, it works just fine. So can the charge port in the rezound work loose? and if it does, is there anything I can do to fix it? I'm afraid of it getting worse and making my phone completely unchargeable.

The stock Rezound cable can actually damage you're phone I'd you fiddle with it and try accidentally plug out in upside down... I would try getting a standard microUSB cable, many people have noted it works better and maintains a better connection than the stock cable.

Well, I know i've done that before on accident, trying to plug my phone in the dark. Assuming I did damage it, is it repairable?
