Are there any extended battery options for the rezound that do NOT require a new battery door? I do not want any extra thickness, but would like a little more battery. The extended batteries I have seen make the phone too fat for me.

Go fat, you will never go back. Lasts 24 plus hours. Curved extend back is nice to hold, and price is right.

What about the various antennas spread around the back? I did the opposite, cut out a gel case for the extend case to stick through. Working great!Originally Posted by HowardZ

Also, what brand of extended battery would you recommend?

I got the cutting idea from a thread about someone who. cut a hole in a standard rezound back plastic part without hurting the antennas and then also the back plastic part of the defender case to fit the extended battery.

Now this guy cut the standard back and the defender back piece and used a 4000 ma mugen battery.

I have not done such cutting.
I am not recommending cutting up the standard battery back cover, I am just showing that it has been done.

This might be entertaining to try.
I ordered a used rezound standard back cover for $9 including shipping to play with.
