    How to stop the ICS update?

    I have the gingerbread and my phone is rooted, but it keeps pestering me with that ICS update and I keep deferring but it will not go past a certain date.

    So my question is how to permanently stop the ICS from pushing through?

    if you have titanium backup you can try freezing the updater app.
