About LinkBacksI was playing dead trigger and had apps downloading in the background on 4g. I backed out to give my phone a rest and saw the insane temp. Won't the phone normally shut itself off if it could be damaged from heat or should I be worried. It's always in a thick otterbox with extended battery and I know this phone tends to get hot but that seems a bit high

07-22-2012 08:13 AMMine got real hot the other day, I noticed the orange/green light, though orange is a hard color for me to see, so I thought I just had a message. Backed out of the game I was playing (super stickman golf) took it off the charger, still flashing. Then I remembered about the over heating warning. Looked and it was at 125. So I took the case off and set it in the shade for a while, about 10 minutes later went inside and sat it right under the air conditioner. A few minutes after that, I got a tone of some sort, no notification, but the battery was back to 90 degrees. Been fine since.
