I have had the Droid Incredible which I rooted for two years and loved it. I was up for an upgrade in May and got a RAZR MAXX. I basically wanted to upgrade before I lost my unlimited data. The Maxx was okay but not for me. I returned it after 12 days figuring I would just stick with my Incredible and maybe buy a couple of extras for future use off of Ebay. The deal breakers with the Maxx were it not having a removable battery (even with the large battery it had it did not last anywhere near as long as my Incredible with the extended battery. I just like the option of popping in a fresh battery when ever I want. Especially if I am out camping or something like that. It was also just two large and did not feel comfortable in my hand. There were a few small things also, but not deal breakers.
Verizon was ending it's Grandfathering for upgrades yesterday. I had been holding out hope that the new Incredible would come out before the grandfathering ended. I had the idea in the back of my mind to get a new phone for backup in case something happened to my Incredible. I saw the Rezound (don't know why I did not consider it before) I went to the store yesterday to check it out, it felt better in my hand than the Maxx and has the removable battery. Checked the reviews and liked what I saw. Ordered it last night (79 dollars) and got it today. Set it up the way I like and it seems like a nice phone. Bigger than the Incredible, smaller than the Maxx. I am going to continue playing around with it and should get my extended battery tomorrow. If the extended battery is decent I may have a new everyday phone and be putting the Incredible away as the backup phone.
Either way I am glad I picked up this phone. It has a lot of potential. I am looking forward to using this phone and learning from this forum.
