Playstore - you can select many updates and downloads,
but only one will actually be downloading at a time.
The others are queued for downloading.
My Droid-X on AOKP acts the same way.

04-30-2012 07:12 AMI haven't been on stock GB in forever so I can't comment on that. Hopefully someone else that is, will let us know for sure.
