    Turning off notification sound for Gmail

    I looked and cant seem to find how to turn off the notification sound for gmail.

    Any help?

    Open Gmail App - [menu button] - More -Settings - Account Settings - Email Notifications (at the bottom)

    You can have different notifications for each label on each account you use - very flexible!

    If you think you have the Gmail sounds turned off and you still get notification sounds, make sure you have sounds turned off on the default email app on your phone.
