Former Bionic owners...

So yeah, my Bionic experience has all but died. Looks like I'll be getting my Rezound in tomorrow. I'm just looking for some thoughts from former Bionic owners who switched to the rezound. I think we can all assume the data connectivity issue is the biggest improvement, but what about things like battery? Screen quality? Etc etc. Really just anything at all that you've noticed is a pro or con that one phone has over the other. Bionics big thing, but completely underitilized, was the webtop. Does Rezound have this as well? But ultimately, like I said, anything that really stands out...

Again, I'm really looking for the opinions of former Bionic owners, I'm aware of what the Rezound's specs are and the theoretical differences between hardware, but I'd like to hear some actual user experiences. Thanks dudes.

Screen is awesome. Battery life is alright. Yet again, I'm coming from a Thunderbolt so any new phone in my lens has a legit battery life. Camera has really good quality and takes the shot rather quickly I must say. Not to sure if you have ever experienced HTC Sense first hand but in my opinion, it makes this smartphone stand out when compared to the rest.

I have to admit I came from a iPhone 4 to the rezound and the battery life is about the same but the improvement in data speeds is incredible! I must admit I love my ReZound.

I just came from the Bionic to Rezound 2 days ago. So far I like this phone way better in many ways. I did like the Bionic a lot, but the frequent data drops after 902, locked bootloader, low development, and moto software was killing me.

I used the standard battery yesterday and got about 11hrs on 3g where I would get about 12 or so with Bionic. I just switched to extended battery to give that a try as I will be in 4g all this weekend.

There is no webtop for this phone which is kind of a bummer, but its a sacrifice I was willing to make to get a dependable phone with good development. I had a inc2 before Bionic and really enjoyed that HTC phone.

Screen, physical design, software, hardware are all better on Rezound. The keyboard and battery life are not as good imo, but not by a lot.

I am rooted running gb Rez Rom with setcpu and this phone is blazing fast. It beats Bionic in that department. Even when I was running stock it was fast, although Sense was a tad choppy.

Call quality, speaker, bluetooth are about the same as Bionic for me.

And no data drops so far. I didn't even lose data during the outage yesterday, but I was in a 3g area.

Former bionic owner here. I think you made the right choice not going with a moto phone. The ReZound shines in a few different category unbeknownst to the general public.

- Reception indoors and outdoor is great. Bionic was...meh. As i sit here at work on the 3rd floor deep inside my building I have 2-3 bars of 4G. With my bionic 2 bars or 3G sometimes, but had to go outside to get a good signal.

- screen on the rezound is better. For the longest time I was lying to myself when I said I couldn't see the pentile matrix on the bionic. One day I was at the airport and saw a different phone without the screen door look playing the same video. I knew I was in need of a change.

- I like the overall feel of the Bionic better. I like the flatness and squareness, but thats it's

- For me battery like is maybe little better on the Rezound. I had my bionic rooted, so I was getting some decent battery life

- My Bionic used to reboot once every couple days on it's own. I've had my rezound since November and it's never did that to me.

- I thought the call quality was about equal

- I'll give Bionic the nod on launchers although i don't use either of them. I got GO launcher. Seemed to drain my Bionic, but GO launcher doesn't have that effect on my Rezound.

- Extended battery look goes to the Bionic. The Rezound extended battery does it's job, but I'd rather it flatter.

- The Rezound went from the 4G areas to 3G areas and back more seamlessly. The Bionic always had a long period where if it finally realized I was in a 4G area again.

The Bionic could have been pretty good if it just wouldn't have rebooted and had data loss issues. HTC did well with this one. Too bad they arent getting props for it.

I've had my Rezound for about a month and I love it! The screen looks so much better and the camera is amazing. I pretty much stopped using the Bionic to take pictures because they looked so bad.

I had the extended battery with the Bionic but I am using the stock with my Rezound. I have to charge it every night but that's ok. I stick it on my desktop charger and use it for my alarm clock. I do wish the battery was bigger but I don't think I will get the extended because I want to use cases that actually look good in my opinion. For some reason on my Bionic when I had WiFi on it would suck the life out of my battery so I left it on 4G all the time. Now I have the opposite problem but that's how it's suppose to be.

I love Sense. I had the Incredible before I went to the Bionic. I really missed all the features that hTC has. I'm not a fan of Blur.

I have had zero data drops on my Rezound. I had them all the time on the Bionic. I couldn't get Verizon to do anything but tell me to wait for a update. So I bought my Rezound on Ebay.

In my opinion there are a lot less complaints and problems with the Rezound than the Bionic. I love mine and I am so glad I switched!

I forgot that on the Bionic I could not hear people very well when I was on the phone. I actually had to turn on the setting for the hearing impaired. I have no problem hearing on the Rezound.

I had 4 Bionics before I switched to the Rezound. The screen is MUCH better, the "feel" of the phone is nice (I love the back of the phone's grips), the bootloader can be unlocked (yay ICS!).

The only advantage the Bionic had was Moto's app, MOTOCAST. Other than that, the Rezound is better in every way, shape, or form.

Awesome, great perspectives here, just what I wanted to hear (minus the lack of webtop). I'll be getting mine tomorrow, can't wait to take my phone into work and be able to show somebody a 20 second youtube clip without waiting 30 minutes for it to load, if it loads at all, while they're over there streaming Netflix and GoogleMusic!
