This is a discussion on Am I the only one getting good battery life? within the HTC Rezound General Discussions forums, part of the HTC Rezound Forum category; Not bad eh? Probably gonna see 17 or 18 hours at this rate!...
I don't usually pay much attention to the unplugged time. The screen shot is a typical day for me. What I pay attention to is the awake time, aka how much actual usage while unplugged, which varies from day to day. Some days 6 hours, some days as much as 10 hours

I Don't stream at all.. But I have noticed at work I go 4G -> 3G -> 1X quite a lot.. Is signal killing my battery that fast? Blutooth and GPS shut off.
The constant switching (4G -> 3G -> 1X) is probably contributing to a lot of it. I set mine to 3G only for most of the time, and use 4G only when I'm going to stream something or when I know I can leave it plugged in for a while. Go to "Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Mode > CDMA only" for 3G. There's also an app in the Market called LTE Switch that makes it a little simpler.
I have a Rezound.. Barely get Six hours... What's your secret?

Data network off when not using, use a widget to toggle, WiFi off if I'm not near a hotspot or I know I won't be using my phone for data for a while, use a widget to toggle. Screen set to a low bright and a auto bright toggle in case I need brighter.

With all those tricks and the extended battery, power is never a concern for me! I didn't get this kind of battery life from My Droid 1 or DX. It helps alot that there is not 4g in my area so I'm always set to cdma.
But with switching to scotts ICS rom my battery has suffered a little, and I'm not sure why.
Or, if you don't want to add more widgets to your home screens, Quick Settings on the pull down status bar may not be quite as fast as a widget, but is still pretty quick for accessing most of those settings in one spot. I wish they'd make it possible to add 2-3 apps of our own on it.

How does adding widgets that don't poll or use data decrease battery life?
