I've rooted my phone, now what should I do? I've already grabbed wifi tether, what other things can I also now do for free that I couldn't before?
What is out there for me to do to improve my rezound?

06-20-2012 05:58 AMThe biggest thing you can do now that you couldn't before, is fully backup your apps and data via Titanium or MyBackup Pro. You now have full control of your phone. You can use a custom ROM, or remove apps that you couldn't before. Basically put, unlocking gives you the freedom to run a custom ROM. Rooting gives you the ability to further customize your phone.

Dumb question, but exactly what do ROMs do, just give us a different theme/buttons, or is there more to it?

06-20-2012 08:33 PMSome have features from other phones, some are just cleaned up stock. Every ROM brings something new to the table. For instance Newt brought us a working Sense 4 ROM.
