Brace yourselves! HTC Passion on its way!

According to Taiwan's Commercial Times newspaper, it's now expected to arrive first as the Passion, shipping in January and likely in a CDMA edition for Verizon.

Theres two version of the Passion right? Maybe the other one is for AT&T or T-Mobile..

I can see me telling my friends I have a "Passion" and they ask me if I got it at Victoria's Secret.

I like HTC Dragon better.

If it's any indication that HTC's desire became the droid eris, then we could see another name. I like the droid dragon myself. (Fingers crossed that passion's new home will be verizon.)

This Bravo/ Dragon is gonna be one sweet phone. If it's anything like the Eris, (which my wife has) I can pretty much call this my next phone.
I REALLY hope they call it the Dragon or Bravo cuz passion is too fruity for my taste. Otherwise....sold!

That's what I'm thinking.

I played with the Eris while I was returning my Motorola Droid and decided it was the phone for me, but I wanted to go home a research it a little before I bought it. That's how I found out about the Passion. I went back to my old phone which is over 3 years old now. I'm ready for this to come out soon.

it has only like 2 things better then the droid, better processor, and FM radio. So basically other then that it only has sense UI. If you like the eris but wanted something more powerful, here's your new phone. If you like the droid, then get it and wait for the next best droid to come out. I prefer the droid over eris, but think the eris is a nice phone. With a more powerful processor, a slightly bigger battery, and an AMOLED screen, should be a pretty decent unit.

ok so i saw the passion finally. my friend who works at google got it last week. i think everyone at goog got it last wk. it's a gsm version. hated the trackball, but everything else seems good. very light and thin compare to the droid. i really hope it comes out on jan.
