More internal memory for one. Trackpad instead of trackball. Dual memory card slots.... something! Passion does not have anything more then really then my Droid has. Just further solidifies my choice in going with the Droid and not to hold out for something more. Not saying it will not be a nice device.. just early reports had this devices pegged as something to make our jaws drop!
I agree a trackpad would be nice. Your right people way exaggerated the specs for this phone. It didn't really live up to its hype.

No word on carrier because it hasn't gone through the FCC yet. Usually you can tell once it has been sent to the FCC for approval, which bands it uses, and from then tell what network they are most likely going to go with, but until it's been fully released by HTC, noone will fully know.
Resistance is futile.

+1 to this. People thought it was going to be a god unit. Which in fact it is not. While it comes with a few more bells and whistles over the droid. And a faster processor, the unit itself is nothing spectacular.
Resistance is futile.

The rumors were a 4.3 screen. But that was only a possibility. No one said this unit WILL have a 4.3 screen.
Resistance is futile.

bells and whistles? other than the faster processor and the obvious Sense UI what's really the major advantage?

just means more battery consumed. The DROID isn't gonna get blown out of the water by this HTC device... it's been gone over a million times... VZW didn't spend the advertising money only to have the device completely trumped. The dual processors in the DROID make a difference.
I'm hoping the HTC device does live up to it's hype but when people get it in their hands I don't think it's gonna be this smoking gun it was hyped to be.

the biggest downside for the HTC Bravo/Passion is that they haven't increased the RAM... the Snap-py processor won't be used to its fullest potential

Hmm I might keep the droid if it comes to Verizon..
