Now I am confused!! Help! I was all set to order the Droid, but a Goggle phone or HTC Passion might be even better. I have 2 lines up for upgrade if I pull the trigger on the Droid I guess I could always sell it when the next hot phone I want comes out and get it at the "discounted price " with a contract extension, huh?

So you could return your Droid to Verizon before your 30-day return period expires, use your old phone you had before the Droid, and then when the Passion comes out, come back and buy it for the 2-year contract price?
Is that correct?
Correct.

If you wait 1 week or 1 year to buy a phone, there will always be one just around the corner that's better. Close your eyes, count to 3 and jump in.
Or wait a week and see what your hearing about the Passion. Just kidding, get the Droid. No, wait! Android 2.0 may be available for the Eris in December.
But the Google phone.....
Meh, I'm over the droid. It's nice, but there are just too many things I don't like about it to be worth the massive amount of money I have to outlay over 2 years to own it.
