I dont know about the spy pics of the phone and estimating it's true size. Ive been looking at pics of the HD2 and the spy pics of the Passion are more in line with the size of the htc tough HD. When comparing dimensions of the spy pic and the touch HD they are more similar than the HD2. If you compare these website pics the dimensions are just all wrong for the passion pic to be the same size as the HD2. What does everyone think?

How can you possibly speculate about the size when the only leaked pic has nothing in the picture to measure it against?

Which is why I asked for peoples opinions grumpmaster.

If you simply compare the length of the screen vs. it's width it gives you a pretty good idea of the actual size of the phones screen and the dimensions just arent in line with a HD2. Besides there is no way to tell if the pic is actually a pic of the passion to be begin with. Id be very happy if the passion DID have a 4.3 screen but imho the phone in the pic does not have the same screen dimensions of a HD2.

Again I ask for opinions...

How is asking a question being grumpy?

You may have a point about the aspect ratio of the screens though. Have you measured them to calculate it? Personally I'm not to huge a fan of the Droid's 16:9 screen, I'd rather it was shaped more like the iPhone's.

i love my Moto Droid but i say its screen is sized like a snickers bar and the iphone storm is more kit kat. i would prefer longer wider i think 4.3 would make a perfect screen. pocket friendly maybe not just put your 4.3 gps in your pocket and see how it feels.

Does anyone else think with the new Christmas exchange date that this phone won't come out until after that ends?

Its standard vzw policy for a no penalty 30 day return period. However, they have extended this return window for the holidays...if you purchase a phone after november 15 you have until January 15 to return the phone with no penalty. Awesome for some, but I wanted to get in on the reduced termination fee so I bought my Droid November 11 (after November 15, the fee goes from 175 to 375..and if I lose my job and need to cancel that's too much cash to ignore.
I'm hoping the passion comes out befomy 3 day return window, by I agree... a release before January 15 would let
too many droid owners switch over to the passion. I'm guessing a January launch but that's pure speculation.

Oh, I bought nov 6 so that doesn't help me. I'm probably going to return my droid and wait for the passion.
