Even though I burned up my credit with the Storm2 then return for the Droid, this is the phone im waiting for. I HOPE it comes out soon, like before 2010. The slide out keyboard on the Moto is JUNK.

If the passion really does come out with 2.0 and the 4.3" screen then my Droid is going back. The whole reason I was excited about this phone was because of the physical keyboard, but it's useless! I think the virtual keyboard has gotten good enough that I won't mind not having the qwerty. I wouldn't mind a little more thin and a little less square too.

BTW I signed a new contract with my Droid. Does anyone know if I return it and cancel the contract within the 30 days will I have any issue turning around and buying the Passion and starting another new contract?

If the passion really does come out with 2.0 and the 4.3" screen then my Droid is going back. The whole reason I was excited about this phone was because of the physical keyboard, but it's useless! I don't think so, especially since you probably will have another good 10 days left in your 30 day money back guarantee time. (We might see some new info about this phone soon)

If I was to venture a guess I would say a week, week and a half tops. I am getting antsy. I am free to leave my current carrier's contract. It's either this or this by the time christmas rolls around....

I am holding out high hopes for the HTC Passion. If this thing came with the Sense UI with a Snapdragon chip, Android 2.0 with a nice medium/large screen as well on Verizon's network to boot..Well I would be absolutely giddy with excitement.

The worries about the battery is not a concern to me, I would have chargers ready to rock and roll for my car, office, home.

I would be willing to return my Droid for a Passion.

I was a diehard physical keyboard guy, coming from a Curve 8330, but after using the Droid's 3 keyboards, I find myself hardly using the physical keyboard.

I don't like the fact that the picture of the Passion has the same type of soft home buttons below the LCD screen as the Droid. I'd much rather have hard buttons, and please give us real Call and End buttons!

The reason for the set of capacitive buttons is the main reason we KNOW this device is coming to VZW. (Rumor has it that all the DROID phones will have the same line of keys. Ex: back, menu, home, search)
