Question Adding music to the Incredible

How do I import music to my DI? I can't sync to my computer, so do I need to remove my card and import it that way? seems a bit cumbersome if that's the only way to do it....

If you can't sync (meaning ?) to your computer, then you can do it the old fashion way of putting your sd card in your computer.

What problems are you having, connecting your Incredible to your computer?

I did download the FTP app onto my phone and filezilla onto my computer... but now I have no idea what to do. I am going to bed. I hope I have more help waiting for me in the morning... thanks

Transferring files to/from your phone and computer works a lot like using a USB flash drive. You do not need to install any special 'sync' software to do what you are wanting to do (though there are many different options for transferring files, as mentioned by the other posters in this thread). All you need is the USB cable that came with your phone. Plug the appropriate ends of the cable into your phone and pc. A window will pop up on your phone asking for you to choose a connection type. select 'disk drive' and tap 'done'. You should now be able to access your phone's memory (and sdcard too, if you installed one) like a regular disk drive, and drag and drop anything into it from your PC.

Thanks, it was the "select 'disk drive'" part that I was missing. I kept trying to sync my phone I knew there had to be an easy way to transfer files to such an amazing device

You should see it in the notification bar saying "charge only". Pull down the notification bar and tap "charge only" and should allow you to change it to USB disk drive or the other options I don't remember atm.
