    Remove Condensation from lens

My Incredible's lens has some condensation behind it. Anyone have any suggestions how to get it out besides putting the phone in a bag of rice?

    Rice is your best bet.

Did you drop it in the toilet?

Nope. Went running in a storm. Nothing else got damaged, and the condensation eventually went away after a couple hours.

Happens to regular cameras, too. Gently warming the phone in a dry spot, like a radiator or sunny window, also will drive out residual moisture.

The rice thing is a myth. in our faq we have instructions about what to do when a Droid gets wet.

I wasn't certain about it being a myth until one day I saw it being recommended on some television show. You know, like a crime drama show? Then I became a believer.

Hook, are you insinuating this phone could have witnessed a crime scene?

    The plot thickens.....

Rice can absorb moisture but not really that well.

You want something hygroscopic like silica gel. In a pinch you could use sucrose. Just make sure you have a way to isolate the phone from the sugar.

Good answer and apparently rice will indeed remove some water so not so much a myth but not all that it's made out to be either:
