Linking Skype contacts to people?

Hello!

Anyone know how to link Skype contacts from the app downloaded from the market? (as opposed to the pre-installed Verizon crap version)

I've tried but for some reason even when I'm logged into Skype nothing shows up in my contacts list when I select it while linking from my People.

Help please?
