Apparently I was supposed to know that I should hold my Droid Eris in landscape position to video. Now I have irreplaceable videos that are sideways on my computer. How do I rotate them?
Windows Movie Maker on XP will do it.
Windows Live Movie Maker on Vista or 7 will do it....

Thanks for the advice ... however, I just loaded Window Live Movie Maker for my Vista and the "rotate" buttons are greyed out. It won't let me rotate!!!!![]()
Any other suggestions?
VirtualDub has filters for rotating video too. I'm surprised your videos got mangled, considering that the phone should be handling the rotation duties via the software player in realtime instead of the video being re-encoded into that state.
