Photo/Camera Management Question
How can I create additional folders in the camera application? For example, one folder for pictures of my dog, and another for pictures of my family.
I am sure it has been asked before, but I could not find the answer on the first few pages.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have not been able to get an answer on this on any forum.
Is it impossible?
Just want to create different folders within the camera application to store different kinds of photos.

I think you could, but you would have to move them around AFTER you take the picture. You would do this by connecting your phone to a PC then copy and paste the pictures to the folder of your choice.

Can't create albums either
I tried to create an album for specific photos. I have not been able to do it yet. Just can't figure it out. I don't mind if I have to hook device up to computer, just find a way. I sent an email for help to HTC and I'm waiting for a reply. I'll give them a few days since it is Christmas.

Looks like I asked this one again after you. I have the same issue and the only thing I see so far is that the droid has "Gallery" and can sort pics into folders that are actually browsable, so maybe it's an update we have to wait for in 2.0.
You can definitely create sub-folders with Astro or by mounting the phone as a USB drive, but when going to "Albums" it'll still group everything into one album, and is pretty tedious to use.

You will need to hook up the usb cable, find your phones drive, simply right click and name the folder what you need it to say. To move pics, drag and drop them after you take them via connection on your home computer.

Yes and while that is great for putting pictures in folders on the card, they still all go to one default folder when browsing albums, so all of the folders are entirely ignored. I've hooked it up via USB cable. I have the pictures sorted into several folders but when I select the albums feature all 1000 photos are listed as being in one single folder.
