    Unhappy Help, I deleted google talk on eris

    I'm rooted, and was running froyo on my Eris. I foolishly deleted Google talk and now a number of apps don't function including android market. So how do I get Talk back? To make matters worse I tried to fix this by system update to restore factory settings and lost my app manrager. I have another Eris with a broken screen containing an SD card with original software. What process can I take to fix this? Thanks anyone.

    I tried, I get an error msg saying can't open the nandroid file?

    When I boot into recovery and try to restore from backup I get an error msg saying, couldn't open directory /sdcard/nandroid

    I haven't tried using the SD from the other phone, can I just switch them out with the phone turned off then try recovery again?
