Now, do I go into settings to do this, or do I open up the menu directly from one of my home screens? Man, why does this have to be so complicated? I just want a blue led light.

I use the sms pop app, which allow you to choose a certain LED color for a certain contact whenever you receive an sms or mms.

If you dont want the pop up window, you could disable it and still keep the LED color for each contact.

    Dont know if this helps.
