Noticing that I've racked up quite a few "searches" in the search feature for Marketplace, I see nowhere to delete previous "search" inquiries. Anyone have a fix for this?

if you go into the settings>Applications>manage applications>[Menu Button.all applications]>market application there should be a "clear Cache" button. I *think* this should clear out your search, but I'm not sure lol but its worth a try.
Tried it...didn't work. Thanks for the info, tho...
I poked around a little bit and while this does *require root*, it works:
Kill the Market task and then from a terminal emulator enter:
$ su
# rm /data/data/com.android.vending/databases/suggestions.db
The next time you start up Market it will initialize a fresh (clean) suggestions/search-cache.
