choosing lock screen?

Is there a way to switch between lock screens? My Eris is rooted, and has the android lock screen instead of the HTC lock screen, but is there a way to switch between the two? That way, if I have to take it to Verizon, it wouldn't be so obvious that my phone is rooted. It does have the stock rom, it is just rooted.

I'm totally guessing here but I think the lock screen is associated with whatever home screen your using. So if you went to the default htc sence home it would change back.
