Sending pictures?

This is a discussion on Sending pictures? within the HTC Droid Eris forums, part of the Verizon Android Phones category; when i take a picture and try to send it in a text. it says its too big.. any help?...

    Sending pictures?

    when i take a picture and try to send it in a text. it says its too big..
    any help?

    Some of the other members were saying the limit to send is capped, in a MMS, if you set it to 3MP i think i what they said, and then take one and send it, you should be fine.

    New2u is correct. you will be able to send full size pictures via email only. mms is capped to a certain size by verizon so its compatible across all phones you may want to send it too. some image sizes will actually crash some phones if its too large.

    It's too bad the phone wasn't customized to compress to that limit and send since it's a limitation placed by the provider.

    Set it to normal resolution, you'll be able to send without any problems...
