    Why is the trackball lighting up?

    Why is the trackball lighting up? I have no messages or email.
    Just want to get it to stop...

    Its notifying you that you have a message, missed call, etc. Just look at the top of your screen and you'll see different icons, long press the top bar and drag down, it will show you what you either missed, or what's waiting for you...You will also see in the top right hand corner clear notification, just click on that and the messages will be deleted..

    You can customize the lighting trackball for five different events here:
    Settings > Sound and Display > Notification Flash
