    Question Removing default email app

Can I uninstall the default email app without running into problems? I prefer to use the gmail app and keep getting message alerts from BOTH apps (because apparently I set up my email in both when I first set up the phone?).

Just delete the account in the email app. Can't uninstall unless rooted. Don't know if deleting that app is a good idea.

I can't find how/where to remove an email account. I want to remove my personal imap email account, but have not been able to do so. Where would I find this?

yeah It can be deleted just remove the apk from the system/app folder along with the .odex file
Of course you need to be rooted in order to do that so here is hoping you are root or are on the 1.5 android.(that way you can root)
