    Question Google Maps Directions

I couldn't find for sure anywhere, but does this have voice turn by turn directions like the Motorola Droid, or is that one of the few things missing from it?

Trying to make my decision before signing up for Verizon.

No it doesn't have voice turn by turn yet.

It will be available with android 2.0 for eris, which should be in 1-2 months.

You can also download a free naviapp right now which does voice turn by turn. I never tried it myself so I'm not sure if it is good.

Navigator for the Android will arrive with OS 2.0.

It is amazing! Simply say "Navigate to Best Buy", and it launches the Navigator, and gives you voice turn by turn directions! Not only that, you can change to street view, and you'll actually SEE the street you're on, while driving, on your phone!

Arrive at your destination, and a clear photo appears of the home, building or destination you're going to!

You can even say "Navigate to King Tut exhibit", and it'll look up which museum it's at, and guide you to the right museum!

Also has layers... while on route, choose a different layer, gas stations, atm's, etc., and they'll show up on your screen!

Even has real time traffic displayed, all for FREE!

TomTom and Garmin stock actually DROPPED, when Droid was released! That's how good Google Navigator is!
